How to use Quick Assist?

What is Quick Assist?

Quick Assist is made by Microsoft, the same company that makes Windows, and it is safe to use when you are connecting with someone you know and trust.

• No Microsoft account needed for the person receiving help.

• It can protect the user from the remote user from seeing or interacting with your files.

How can I launch it?

Quick Assist is launched by pressing the windows start menu key (aka the 4 squares or flag) on the bottom left of your keyboard.

Next you can normally type "Quick..." Windows will then look for the programs installed by the machine and normally the auto complete will bring up "Quick Assist"

Shortcut: Ctrl + Windows Key + Q

What if it can't be found?

Quick Assist has a chance to be not installed in Windows 11. There can be a chance that it was either not installed when you're computer was first setup, or at a previous date uninstalled. All you need to do is reinstall it to use it.

Type the Code

All you as the user using Quick Assist needs to do is type the single use one time code for the section "Get Help" you will be provided the code, then the session will start from there.

Location is Mobile. Repairs and services are conducted by appointment only. After discussing your service needs and confirming the scope of work, the meeting location and appointment details will be provided.

Appointment Disclosure

Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 4 hours notice. Requests made with less notice may need to be moved to the next available service window based on scheduling availability.
